      <title>Online test now open to public</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;Isabelle Peretz is a world specialist on Amusia. This study, conducted under her supervision is designed to better understand amusia. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;A preliminary test can be done via the Internet. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;If, after this test, your results seem to indicate that you don't have a musical ear, please contact us as soon as possible. Your participation in our study will help us improve our knowledge on amusia and, more broadly, on brain, music and sound. If required, further tests will be conducted at BRAMS (Universit&#233; de Montr&#233;al). &lt;/p&gt;

      <title>BRAMS has a new postdoctoral position in auditory neuroscience </title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;A postdoctoral position is available in Montreal, in the laboratory of Isabelle Peretz in collaboration with Hugo Th&#233;or&#234;t and Marc Schoenwiesner to work on a new project funded by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada on music and speech comparison in auditory-vocal behavior. The position offers up to 2 years (renewable) of training and research opportunities using a combination of TMS, ERPs and fMRI in the International Laboratory of Brain, Music and Sound - BRAMS (www.brams.org).&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Desirable qualifications include experience with at least one of the above techniques and solid computing and programming skills. Applicants should send a CV, statement of research interests and skills, preprints if available, and a list of personal references that we may contact.&lt;/p&gt;

      <description>&lt;p&gt;Enjoy the brand new website for the lab with a fresh new look, additional content are improved navigation.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This is a public beta at the moment and so the old site will remain online until we've completely migrated the content.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Lab members will soon get access to the content management system, allowing them to edit their profile, modify publications or create new ones.&lt;/p&gt;
